Dad, Sunday School Teacher, Golfer, Razorback

Introduction

As my first blog, I thought I should introduce myself.

Professional: Other than co-ops/interships (Arkansas Elec Coop, Arkansas Highway and Trans. Dept, Kawneer, etc.), Trinity-Little Rock is the only place I have worked.  I started at Trinity a week after graduating from the University of Arkansas in May 2000.  I am now a Managing Consultant, meaning that I am the direct supervisor for several consultants, and I am the primary contact for more than a dozen of Trinity's clients.  I would say, and I think my boss would agree, that building and maintaing client relationships (mostly through generating good work products by effectively managing other consultants) is my primary responsibility.

Personal: As of this March 2007, I have been married for eight years.  Yes, I got married in college, but we had known each other since kindergarden!  My wife and I are doing are best at raising two daughters - Jordan Grace, who will be five in July, and Alison Faith, who turned one in May.  My wife and I serve as, among other things, Sunday School teachers at our church.  We have a tight family and are rarely apart - we spend lots of time at the church, the park, the zoo, etc.  When I do get a couple hours to myself, I like to play golf or, if a game is on, route on the Razorbacks (hence "RazorHacker").  (I know, real fans go to the games, but sports has slipped well down the priorty list: faith, family, friends,...........,football).

I'll try not to bore you with this type of stuff from now on; I just wanted to give you an idea of where I am coming from.
