After working with Trinity for almost 10 years, I have to smile at some of the idealistic statements I hear during the interview process. The services Trinity provide are not on par with the goals of Sierra Club or GreenPeace - we are not activists. This is something that was explained to me upfront, before my second interview, and I really think it helped me.

I think what we do has a much greater impact in the long run, because we offer readily available, realistic solutions that can and do change the environment around us. We don't make the rules, or attack them, but rather seek to meet them by any means. We are in a unique situation, with obligations to both the client (industry) and the law (government), and it is very rewarding to be able to be a part of the process that ensures our public health.
